A DoD-approved photo identification may be used to enter the NAS Whidbey Island installation. Typically this will be the Common Access Card (CAC).
Attendees who do not possess a DoD-approved photo identification for installation access must register in advance and submit a JPAS Visit Request in advance. (Refer to the appropriate links from the left-side menus.)
When arriving at the installation on Monday (May 21st) or Tuesday (May 22nd), proceed to gate the on Charles Porter Avenue. Do not enter from any other gate or you may be denied entry and redirected to the Charles Porter Gate. (Refer to maps via links in the left-side menus.)
A sentry at Charles Porter Gate (only) will have the list of pre-approved attendees who will be allowed to enter the base in order to proceed directly to the Officers Club on Monday, May 21st, 4pm-7pm for early check-in and to attend the Welcome Aboard reception. On Tuesday, May 22nd, attendees on the list will be allowed to proceed directly to the base theater for regular check-in beginning at 7am.
Once you are issued your serialized EW Syposium ID badge at check-in, you may use it witha government-approved photo identification for base entry. The photo ID must be current (non-expired) and from a Department of Homeland Security approved state.
Report loss of the serialized EW Syposium ID badge immediately to any EW Syposium staffer.
